first beach trip..

We took our first beach trip as a family this past weekend to Miramar Beach, along with Jason and Lori. We had a blast!!! We tried to stick to Wyatt's schedule as much as we could and I think we did a good job. I got a report that he did great yesterday at school for his first day back from the beach. Little man got a better tan than his mommy and daddy, but Ryan thinks he is tanner than him! :) Wyatt loved the sand, watching the birds and the crashing of the waves. Once you got him near the water or dipped his feet in the water he would cry, but he loves the pool! I guess the big open sea and waves looked scary. It was a little choppy for myself too! Overall, we had a great time and we look forward to another trip next year!

Wyatt loves mirrors!!! When we walked into our condo down at the beach and one wall was solid with a huge mirror, I knew he would love it! I could just sit down on the couch with him and he would just talk, smile and laugh at whatever he saw. I got a quick picture of his first tooth!! You can really see it now and it has been hard to even try to look at it without him fighting you.

John Whitten Hays

Today we finally got to meet Whitten, he is absolutely precious! I am excited to have another little boy around for Wyatt to play with and you can see Wyatt is already ready for him to sit up and play with him. We have a few months for that to happen!! :) but, it won't be long!

8 Months & 3 Weeks

Wyatt will be 9 months old in just a week. He is starting to share his toys and will sometimes wave bye-bye. That is still a work in progress! He loves to move all over the place and pull up on anything that he is told not to. Here are a few pictures from the last week. He loves to play with paper and books right now!

@ 8 months 2 weeks

I can officially say that we have a crawler on our hands!! Wyatt has been taking a few steps here and there over the last 2 weeks but he is crawling all over the place now. When I go to pick him up after school, I will bend down and call his name and he just crawls right towards me with the biggest smile on his face. I love it! He has been pulling up as well, I dont know if he will be a crawler for very long. All he likes to do is hold onto your hands then bend down to sit down and pull him self right back up. He does this over and over!

Peek-A-Boo

The other night, we put Wyatt down for bed and I always get his monitor as soon as I get back down the stairs. When I turned it on, this is what I saw. I had to grab my camera and sneak into his room without him seeing me. As soon as I opened the door he was looking straight at me. I automatically start playing peek-a-boo with him, he loves it! The next day, we dropped his crib!!!
