CCS ZOO TRIP

Friday I took the day off to take Wyatt on his first school field trip to the zoo. We had so much fun! Wyatt loves his teacher, Mrs. Charla, as you can see. I am thankful that Wyatt loves going to school and learning! This child is obsessed with his letters and counting. He knows all his letters and their sounds, he can count to 15....20 with help. He knows that the letters W-Y-A-T-T spells his name. He wants me to help him "drawl" or "write" letters, he tries to trace over them but still alot of scribble. When we take him to bed he is going over letters and couting with his fingers, I always tell him he needs to go to sleep and rest his brain, he thinks too much! He is growing up WAY TOO FAST!!

This past Thursday my grandmother passed away, I know she is in a better place. I wish Wyatt could have spent more time with her and known her more at a older age. I will cherish the pictures and the time that she got to spend with Wyatt. She told my mom that she would watch over Wyatt when the day came and I believe her, she is his guardian angel. We miss you grandma and love you so very much, we will see you again one day!

Day Out with Thomas

Yesterday we celebrated Carter's 3rd Birthday at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in Calera. They had a special event this week with A Day Out with Thomas. Wyatt loves trains! We had a great time playing with bubbles and trying to capture the bunnies at the petting zoo. The cake was yummy and it was a great day! We were all worn out from all the fun!

Over the long holiday weekend I decided to go ahead and convert Wyatt's crib to the toddler stage. He LOVES it! He wasn't climbing out of his crib, but I knew he would be okay and ready since at school they take naps on cots. He has done great, only had to get onto him once on Saturday for his nap. He heard me at the stairs and ran straight to his bed....nice having a video monitor! The toddler stage will then convert to a full size bed but I think I will hold off until he turns 3.
