Strollin....

Today I took Wyatt for his first walk through the neighborhood. He slept the entire time and woke up as soon as I got him back into the house. Somehow I managed to push a stroller and handle Tyson on a leash at the same time. I dont think I will try it again, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be and Tyson was scared of the stroller. He is trying to get used to all these baby things around the house. I hope I get to have a few more walks with Wyatt before I go back to work. Here is a picture of Wyatt with his Air Jordan hat on, it finally somewhat fits. He has some matching Air Jordan shoes that goes along with it, but he needs to grow a little bit more. I can't even get socks to stay on his feet!!

1 Month...

Can't believe Wyatt is already a month old, the time has been flying by and he is growing so fast. Yesterday we had his one month check up and he did really well. Doctor said he looks great. His weight is 9lbs. 12oz. and still around 22-1/4" long. His head has gotten a little bigger at 14-3/4". He has been doing well during the day, we try to get out as much as we can to give him some fresh air. He has been falling asleep around 9 p.m. and waking up around 12-1a.m. and 3-4a.m. for feedings. I havent been able to sleep in past 6a.m. but maybe one day. We discovered last week that Wyatt is a little bit colicky and we think it is due to gas and his relux. It is not as bad as I have heard from other people but he gets upset in the evenings around 5:30p.m. and gets the worst between 7-8p.m. It is sad that there is nothing you can really give them but try to comfort them and do your best to relieve the pain. Doctor said most babies outgrow it by 10 weeks, we are hoping that it won't last that long. Nothing much else has been going on lately, he doesnt like to spend more than 5 mintues on his belly during the day, but he likes it when he is going through his fussiness in the evening. I have attached a couple of pictures that I have taken within the last few days, I really need to get some of us with him. We are waiting for our newborn pictures and family pictures, hopefully we will get those this week. We had so much fun getting them done and he was great.

Lately....

Wyatt had his 2 week check up and it was very interesting. He doesnt like to be placed in his car seat but does very well once we get in the car and get moving. He goes right to sleep. So, we will be working on that. His appointment went very well, doctor is very pleased with his measurements and developments. He is right on target, he can already lift his head and move it around, a little wobbly but he is doing very well. His weight is now 8lbs. 2oz. and length is 22". I guess he lost a half inch when is cone head smoothed out. His head measurement is 14-1/8". So he had pretty much gained a pound since he was born. He is growing so fast and each day he looks a little different. He is eats ALOT! I try to hold him over between 3-4 hours but he sometimes wants to eat within 1-1/2-2 hours after a feeding. He is on mostly formula and I thought that holds babies over longer but doesnt seem to be working that way with him. His sleeping pattern is so different each and every day/night. I have had to sleep a couple of times with him in my arms. He sometimes does well in his swing as well. If anyone has any tips please let me know!!! Being a mother is the most wonderful blessing!!!

Look who is HOME!!!!

Wyatt was discharged from the hospital today and we are so excited to finally have him home. He has been great so far, won't go to sleep but we are working on it. Nonie, he loves his swing. I have attached a picture for you. Tyson is so curious of Wyatt he is constantly at his side and wants to give him kisses. I can already tell he is going to be very protective of him. Thank you to everyone for all the prayers and thoughts throughout this time for us. We are thankful to have him home with us. We greatly appreciate everything!!! I have attached a few pictures for you all to enjoy. HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!
