happy, happy birthday

Today my baby boy turned TWO!!! It is unbelievable how fast time has flown by. I can still remember the early morning hours of leaving for the hospital and the anticipation of him being here. Holding him in my arms for the first time and kissing him on his forehead, I will always have that image in my heart. As he gets older, he will always be my baby boy! I attempted to make a cookie cake for Wyatt to take to school, they sang happy birthday and had a treat. I think Wyatt has had a surgar overload today, I am watching him play with his cars in his crib. He is usally sound asleep by now!

I am turning two!

Saturday we celebrated Wyatt's 2nd Birthday at Treetop Family Adventure. We had a blast, we spent time playing in a giant treehouse playground and boucing around on the inflatables. It was so much fun and we were all worn out from all the fun! Wednesday we will celebrate his actual birthday with a big 2 year post! Thursday he will be going to the dentist for the first time and to his 2 year check up. Lots to post!!

ccs toddler christmas party

Wyatt's class had their Christmas party yesterday, it was so cute! We started off by visiting other parents, we made gingerbread houses and sat on the carpet singing Christmas songs and sang Happy Birthday to baby Jesus. The kids were so cute ringing their bells to Jingle Bells. The children gave each parent a gift, it was adorable. I love handprints and footprints of my child!!! Nothing else like it! Looking over these pictures I couldn't help but to think in a year these children will be in my Intermediate class. I can't wait!!! :)

my first flight

Wyatt rode on an airplane for the very first time over Thanksgiving. He did AWESOME! I will definitely fly with him again. I was afraid we would be the couple with the screaming toodler the entire flight, but nope! He rode in his carseat on the way to Oklahoma and then on the way back we decided to let him sit in his seat without and that was better for him. Here are a few pictures Ryan took.

Thanksgiving 2011

We flew out to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving holiday this year to visit with my family. We had so much fun!!! I wish I had taken more pictures but I guess didnt find alot of time to. We spent our days watching football, black Friday shopping, visiting my grandmother in hospice and just enjoying each others company. I don't get to see my parents and brother Keith much so it was nice to just sit around and talk. Our last night there, Keith and Travis cooked dinner for us and then had a hot choclate bar set up to get as we headed out the door to drive around looking at Christmas lights, that was fun....and cold! Travis works for Chesapeake Energy and they had the trees surrounding their "campus" (looks like a university campus) it was so GORGEOUS! Wyatt's other grandpa came down to have lunch with us one day, we had a good time as well. Overall it was a nice holiday vacation and I hope soon we will get to spend more hoiday's with them.
