big boy

Wyatt has changed so much in the last couple of weeks, he talks constantly now and can repeat everything. We are going on week two of sleeping in his big boy bed and in underwear all day. I am most excited about that!;) He is growing up so fast!!!

carnival day

CCS had their last day of summer fun with a carnival. The kids got to enjoy the bounce house and slide all day long. Cha Cha Charlie visited us one last time, we enjoyed pizza and cotton candy. It was a lot of fun!

firemen & fire trucks

The Hoover Fire Department came to our school today in part of Community Helpers week. They talked to the kids and showed them around the fire truck. I was able to break away from my class to snap some pictures. Wyatt got a hat and talked about the fireman and truck on the way home!

doggy park

Today we took Tyson to Veterans Park in Alabaster, they recently opened a doggy park addition. It was very nice and I think Wyatt had more fun than Tyson. He was chasing other dogs around and playing in the splash pad. We will definitely be going back soon!

4th of July!!!

Last night we ate some yummy BBQ and a quick stop for some frozen yogurt then headed to Chelsea Park to watch the firework display with everyone else. It was cute to see the kiddos playing with sparklers and light up rings. All day I was telling Wyatt we were going to see fireworks, he has been saying fireworks all day. He didn't have a clue what it is but did last night. He kept saying "wow"! We had a great time and I can't wait to take him again next year!

two and half

Wyatt is growing up so fast! I can't believe that in 6 months we will have a three year old. Wyatt is up to so much these days, he talks more and is silly. He is the little comedian, he is shy at first but once he is around someone a little bit he will open up. He is such a loving and caring boy. He has his moments like any other two year old and I know those won't ever go away! He LOVES letters and spelling. He is doing good at potty training, he will stay dry for two weeks straight at school and then the next week have a couple accidents, he gets better and better. I look forward to what he has and will be doing in the next six months!

father's day

We spent Sunday at the pool all day, even missed nap time. Wyatt loves the pool especially jumping in and being thrown in the air with his daddy. Meme and Papa came over later that day for a little swim. It was a wonderful, relaxing father's day!
