Yummy....Green Beans

Wyatt started eating "big boy" food over the weekend. We started him off with green beans and tomorrow he will start sweet peas. Once we get the veggies down we will move onto the orange, sweetier foods.

Welcome to the Family!!

Last night we recieved a phone call with much anticipated news on whether Shaun and Melissa would be welcoming a little boy or another little girl. We got the wonderful news that we all will be welcoming John Whitten Hays to the family in September. We are so excited for you guys and knew deep down inside that it was a boy, your pregnancy is just way too different than with Lillian's. We are also excited that Wyatt will soon have a little boy cousin to play with! He loves the girls but lets face it, he is going to be wanting to play with trucks and trains! Now, I can start shopping for the little man and monogramming here we come! Shaun and Melissa we are so thankful that you guys were blessed with another blessing from God and you could not have the most perfect balance of a family. I know you guys would have been very happy with a boy or girl! We love you guys and can't wait for September! I still call September 19th! You just have to try to have him before the 22nd, just playing :)

Wyatt at 5 Months 1 Week

I wanted to start posting alot more pictures of Wyatt on this blog to turn it into a book when he turns 1 in Decemeber. I got the idea from Morgan and I absoutely love the books she had done for Grasyson. It is something that a parent and child could cherish forever and go back to to remember the days. So, you are going to see alot more pictures, hopefully I can keep up with it.

Fun in the Sun

Saturday I filled up Wyatt's first baby pool and wasn't to sure of it. So, on Sunday we took him to the "big" pool and he loved it. I was so happy to see that he did not cry of even wimper when we put in down in the floaty in the water. He did great and loved to be twirled around, he was laughing at his uncle Travis. Thanks to uncle Travis as well, Wyatt had one of his naptime meltdowns and he came to the rescue and got Wyatt alsleep right away. Travis is a great dad already and I can't wait to see him and Meredith with a baby one day. I know who to call now when it happens again!

5 Months!!!

Wyatt is 5 months old! He continues to grow and grow everyday. He is such a sweetheart and I love every minute I spend with him, even when he is having a tantrum! If he skips a nap he turns into a handful. He loves to see and observe everything that is around him. This past month we had a couple of birthday parties that we helped celebrate for, Lillian turned 2 years old and Callie turned 1! Next month we will be heading to Oklahoma to visit my parents, brother and grandmother. I am very excited and could use a nice getaway vacation even if it isn't in the tropics. Wyatt also has his 6 month checkup on the 23rd of June. I am anxious to see how much he has grown.

Almost 5 Months

Can't believe my little boy will be 5 months old in a few days. He has changed so much in the past month. He is so much more playful! He talks all the time and makes the funniest noises when he laughs. Still has not rolled over but he lays on his back and rolls to his side then pushes himself and flips himself facing the other direction. He reaches for objects, pulls them into his mouth, follows mommy/daddy around the room as well as Tyson. Best of all, he has been sleeping in his crib upstairs for the last two weeks...through the night! Wyatt is doing great and seems to be a much happier baby. He had a rough start into life and had bad stomach pains but it looks like he is over it and much better. This past weekend was my first mother's day and it could not have been any better. We relaxed around the house and went out to lunch. Ryan let me rearrange the living room furniture and it looks so much better. I wanted to make it more open plus I can see what is going on more once Wyatt gets more mobile. Here are a few pictures from the weekend, we didnt take much. Below is my mother's day gift from Wyatt. I picked him up from daycare and it was laying in his crib with a note on it.

This little piggy...

Wyatt has discovered his feet lately, he loves to pull his legs up and grab onto his feet. He always has lifted his legs really high and slammed them down onto the floor or his bed. I was a little concerned but his teacher's assured me that it was fine and there were other babies in his class that did the same thing. He already loves to push down on his legs to stand...of course with support!
