15 months!
Wyatt had his 15 month well check up and I am happy to report that our little guy is healthy as can be. So much has happened within the last month with his developements, it is like it happens over night. Here are his stats and a few things he has been up to.
-Weight: 23lbs. 4oz.
-Height: 32"
-Wyatt can say ball, thank you (dan-oo), mama, dada and Tyson/Doggie. We dont know if he is trying to say Tyson or doggie, but he calls Jada and Colby by the same word. It sounds more like dy-da.
-He can sign more and please
-loves to play with his basketball, soccer ball and bouncy ball. As well as his blocks, wood puzzle pieces and trucks/trains.
-He has started to blow kisses to us at bedtime..melts my heart!:)
-Will imitate anything you do, I especially love his dance or tap dancing moves.
-He is trying to eat with a spoon or fork, he will try for a little bit and just give up and eat with his fingers.
-Loves to play outside...he gets outside playtime two times a day at school.
-Can make the sound of a sheep and cow when you ask him.
-Can have an attitude and throw a tantrum, we are working on his biting issues.
That is about all I can think of right now, I cant wait to see what new things he will be saying or doing come next month.

14 months
Seriously?! I know I say this every month but time needs to slow down! My little boy is growing up way too fast. Wyatt is all over the place now, he has me running laps around the house in the mornings. He talks alot but you can't understand what he is saying but can somewhat tell what he is talking about. I honestly think his first real word will be Tyson. He is no longer a baby but a little toddler (he will always be my baby!)

Gatlinburg
This past weekend we took a trip up to Gatlinburg for the holiday weekend with Lori and Jason. We had a great time! We spent the days walking, eating, walking and eating..We went up the tram to Ober Gatlinburg and walked the main street. Sunday we took a drive to Cades Cove. It is a fun little trip to just ride in your car for the 12 mile one way street. There are places to pull off onto and look at the old homes, churches and trails. I would recommend that trip to anyone traveling up to Gatlinburg, the scenery is gorgeous! Here are a few pictures from our trip.

our weekend
Our weekend was very laid back! Friday after work we picked up Tyson from the vet after having some minor small surgeries done. Saturday we got up early and ran a few errands then came home and spend the day around the house. Saturday night Wyatt started doing the funniest thing, he loves to play peek a boo and he would want us to put the shirt on top of his head to cover his face and he would walk all around the house. We had to save him from running into a few things but he loved it! When it fell off he would cry to put it back on and he couldnt get it on his head to cover his face himself but he would try. We tried to put the shirt on his head to were he could see out of one eye but he would pull it down to cover his enitre face. He is so silly! I have video but for some reason our computer takes FOREVER to dowload so if anyone has suggestions let me know! He is all over the place now and barely crawls. Sunday we went out to Oak Mountain since the weather was so nice, Wyatt loved the swing! He enjoyed being pulled by Bailey in his wagon. The weekend was very relaxing and we will be heading out to Gatlinburg soon!

my lil climber and wobbler
I have not updated the blog in a few weeks and I am really sorry, especially to my family that keep up with us that live out of town. But, I am on a mission to keep up as much as I can. Here is a little update on Wyatt...
He is moving up to the Wobblers class starting Monday. He is walking but still crawls to get to something or somewhere quickly. He is on the meal plan at school as well, which I am happy about! It is hard getting his meals ready each morning and trying to get both of us ready. He is doing great with it! He hates meat but will eat fish sticks, sometimes hot dogs and every now and then chicken fries. Loves pizza, gold fish, carrots, green beans, bananas and yogurt. Those are a few things he loves to eat. He is drinking out of a sippy cup, blabbing alot, climbing on top of everything! He loves to play with his gym activity thing, he knows to climb up the one side and sit down with your legs in front of you and slide down. He caught on quickly after showing him a couple of times. That sums up what has been going on the last couple of weeks. My baby is turning more into a little boy with each passing week, he amazes me every day!

2011
Happy New Year to everyone! We had a very low key weekend for New Years. Friday night we watched a few games and then went to bed really early like always. Saturday we woke up and watched cartoons and then headed over to the Badyrka's to watch football and headed home to relax the rest of the evening. Sunday we went to Babies R Us to get some locks for the cabinets and door knobs, basically baby proof a few things around the house. Wyatt has been interested in the main doors in the house lately. He can turn the knob so it is only a matter of time before he gets outside. Then we went over to lunch at Tina and Steve's.
2010 was a great year for our family, Wyatt was disharged from the NICU on New Years day and from then our year as a family of three has been wonderful. I have learned so much about being a mommy and parent. I wouldn't trade or change anything that has happened in the last year. We look forward to the new year and for what God has planned for our family.

my first steps
Last night Wyatt took his first steps..4! I was putting one of his toys together and heard the sweetest laugh. I looked up and Wyatt was not sitting on the floor he was standing up on his own with a toy in his hand. It was almost like he was trying to get my attention to show me what he was doing. He stood for the longest time and fell to his bottom and continued to laugh. He got right back up with no pulling up but just using his legs. I was so suprised, it is almost like it happened over night. Ryan noticed Sunday night he had done it once but not even close to how well he was last night. We went into the living room to play, he loves for us to sit across from each other and let him go back and forth. He has been "sloppy" walker for the last couple of weeks but he took very balanced steps last night. We are so excited! I know I am about to have my hands full with a walker but it is so exciting to see him accomplishing things and his excitement when he is awarded. Here are a couple of pictures I got to snap of him standing.
